This Privacy Policy (this “Policy”) explains how Mission Roll Call (“MRC”, “we”, “us” or “our”) collects, uses, and otherwise processes information that we collect.  By accessing any of our websites that refer to or link to this Policy, including https://www.missionrollcall.org/ (each, a “Site” and, collectively, the “Sites”), or by using or participating in any products, services, or programs that we make available (including any podcasts, webinars or similar offerings) or that otherwise refer or link to this Policy (collectively, the “Services”), you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of this Policy.

We may add to, modify, or otherwise update this Policy from time to time in our sole discretion by notifying you that a new version of this Policy has been posted to the Site.  You should review this Policy for any additions, modifications or updates each time that you access any of the Sites or use any of the Services.  Your use of the Sites or Services following any additions, modifications or updates to this Policy constitutes your acceptance of such additions, modifications or updates.

Information We Collect

In connection with the Sites and Services, we may collect the following categories of information:

We may also automatically collect general, non-personal, statistical information about the use of the Sites and Services, including how many individuals visit a specific page on the Sites, how long a visitor stays on such page, and the hyperlinks visitors click. We collect this information by using cookies, log files and other similar technologies (as further described below). This information represents a generic overview of visitors to our Sites and users of our Services.

While we do not collect your payment information (e.g., credit card number, expiration date), we use a third-party service provider to process payments through the Sites and Services. Our third-party payment processor will collect your payment information in connection with your purchases and donations.

You may choose not to provide certain information to us, but as a result you may not be able to take advantage of some of the features of the Sites or Services.

How We Use & Share Information

We may use the information that we collect for the following purposes:

If you dedicate a donation to an individual, we may share the dedication information publicly.  Additionally, if you submit your story to us, we may publish your story, and any pictures or other images submitted by you, on our website, social media channels or other media that we utilize.

We do not disclose your information to third parties, except:

Additionally, in the event we are acquired by, or merge or consolidate into, another entity, or if there is a sale of our assets (including in bankruptcy), your information may be transferred to the entity acquiring us or our assets or that survives the merger or consolidation.  You acknowledge and agree that in the foregoing circumstances, your information may be disclosed to such third party.

Cookies, Web Beacons and Other Tracking Technologies

We use technologies, such as web beacons, pixels, tags, and JavaScript, alone or in conjunction with cookies, to gather information about the use of our Sites and Services, including how users interact with our emails. The use of this information-gathering technology allows us to store and attempt to honor your preferences and improve your browsing experience. You can control the use of cookies on your device but choosing to disable cookies on your device may limit your ability to use some features on our Sites and Services.

The Sites and Services also may use log files. The information inside the log files includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, type of browser, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date/time stamp, referring/exit pages, and number of clicks to analyze trends, administer the site, track a user’s movement around the Sites and Services, and gather demographic information.

In addition to our own cookies, log files and similar technologies, we may engage third parties (e.g., Google) to use their cookies, log files and similar technologies to report to us usage statistics of the Sites and Services, deliver advertisements on and through the Sites and Services, and for other similar purposes.  Google Analytics, for example, uses cookies to track your interactions with our Sites and Services.  Google collects information and reports it to us, without identifying individual users. This information helps us improve our Sites and Services so that we can better serve users.  For more information on Google Analytics, please visit www.google.com/policies/privacy/partners/.

You have the right to opt out of the collection and use of information for ad targeting.  Please visit www.aboutads.info/choices.com for additional information regarding such rights and how to exercise them.

For your convenience, our Sites and Services may contain links to other websites, applications and services maintained by third parties (each, a “Third-Party Site”).  The information practices of such Third-Party Sites are governed by their privacy statements, which you should review to better understand their privacy practices.  Any reference or link to a Third-Party Site does not constitute or imply its endorsement by us, and you assume all risk with respect to its use.
