Our program serves Veterans regardless of era served, branch of service, discharge status, insurance coverage, or location within the Continental United States.","organization_logo":978,"geographic_scope":"National","service_area_states":[],"service_description":"The UNC THRIVE Program provides a comprehensive 3-stage approach to mild to moderate Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) care:\r\n\r\nStage 1: 3-Day Evaluation: Participants complete a comprehensive diagnostic evaluation with our interdisciplinary clinical team, which may include Audiology, Behavioral Health, Clinical Pharmacology, Musculoskeletal Care, Neuropsychology, Nutrition, Physical Therapy, Psychiatry, Speech-Language Pathology, and Vestibular Therapy.\r\n\r\nStage 2: 3-Week Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP): Eligible participants have the option to continue into a three-week IOP that integrates conventional medicine and the clinical specialties involved in the evaluation with complementary therapies that may include Acupuncture, Art Therapy, Equine Therapy, Moral Injury discussions, Reading Group sessions, Yoga, and Mindfulness.\r\n\r\nStage 3: 1-Year Follow-Up: Following participation in the program, our case managers, clinical team, and veteran outreach team continue to follow participants for at least 1 year, providing ongoing support and assistance in implementing recommendations and connecting with appropriate resources.","target_audience":"Our program provides services to Veterans irrespective of the era in which they served, their branch of service, discharge status, insurance coverage, or location within the Continental United States. Additionally, we extend those same services to First Responders, whether active or retired, within the Continental United States.
