Our Mission

Blue Star Service Dogs rescues shelter dogs and trains them through Michigan prison programs to become service dogs for veterans and first responders. Our mission, “Rescuing One to Heal Another,” helps both people and dogs find purpose, healing, and hope at no cost to those we serve.
