Starter U, a free online course by the Brian Hamilton Foundation, equips anyone with the tools, knowledge, and confidence to start a business and achieve self-reliance.

Our Mission

The Brian Hamilton Foundation, founded by entrepreneur Brian Hamilton—who launched a landscaping business in middle school and later built one of the nation’s largest fintech companies—created Starter U, a free online course that has already helped thousands of aspiring entrepreneurs. With decades of experience, Brian’s mission is simple: give people the tools to start businesses, support themselves, and shape their futures.
