Each year on November 11, we take a moment to honor the brave men and women who have served our country. From parades to special events, Veteran’s Day is a chance for the nation to say “thank you” in many ways. One of the most appreciated gestures is the array of discounts and offers made available to veterans, active-duty military, and their families. In 2024, businesses across the country are once again stepping up to show their gratitude with an impressive lineup of deals. Below is a breakdown of some of the discounts available this year.
1. Restaurants
Many popular restaurant chains offer free meals or deep discounts to veterans on Veteran’s Day. Here are a few offers:
- Applebee’s: As in previous years, veterans and active-duty military members can enjoy a free meal from a special menu. Just bring proof of service.
- Chili’s: Veterans and military members get a free meal from a select menu all day on November 11.
- Golden Corral: Known for its annual Military Appreciation Night, Golden Corral is offering free meals to service members and veterans.
Make sure to check your local restaurants, as many smaller, independently owned spots offer their own deals and specials to honor veterans!
