Service Story
Pastor Lee Otto, a retired U.S. Army Sergeant (E-5), served honorably in the 1st Infantry Division as an Infantry Soldier, Bradley driver, gunner, and Machine Gunner. During his 2004-2005 Iraq tour, he sustained multiple severe injuries in fierce battles like Fallujah with the 1st Marine Division and Operation Smack Down. His valor earned the Bronze Star, three Purple Hearts, Army Commendation Medal, Presidential Unit Citation, Combat Infantryman’s Badge, and more. As Campus Pastor at New Life Church in Watertown, WI, and Regional Ambassador for Sierra Delta—a nonprofit supporting veterans and dogs—he inspires through speaking engagements, embodying resilience, faith, and service.
