My Father served in Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom and took part in the gulf war in the 90s and 2000’s. He was awarded a bronze star and a purple heart after his humvee on patrol took and IED blast and flew him out of the gunner seat on his humvee. When he regained consciousness he jumped back on the gun and helped support his squad, saving many of his teams lives. He passed away on October 3rd, 2023.
