Veterans feel ignored this election, advocate says
(TNND) — A majority of military veterans favor former President Donald Trump over Vice President Kamala Harris in this election, according to a recent survey from the Pew Research Center.
The survey found 61% favor Trump, in line with Trump’s veteran support in 2016 and 2020.
Jim Whaley, the CEO of veterans’ advocacy group Mission Roll Call, was asked why more veterans side with Trump over Harris.
Whaley said Mission Roll Call is an apolitical organization, representing veterans from every walk of life. And he didn’t weigh in directly on the question.
But he did say a lot of veterans feel ignored in the political dialogue this election season.
